[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely adore this deliciously dark burgundy shade, S'il Vous Pait because it totally appeals to my gothic heart!
The lipstick is intensely pigmented and gives one swipe full coverage with a beautiful soft satin finish that left my lips feeling hydrated and comfortable. I found it didn't bleed into fine lines and had nice longevity. I like to switch between a satin and matte finish but find quite often, you lose colour richness and intensity once mattified (loose powder dusted over one ply tissue) however, the colour stays true with this lipstick which is incredible so you get the best of both Worlds. The packaging looks high end, has a lovely weight to it as well as the lid locks into place so is nice and secure.

Misleading colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was apprehensive trying this colour as I usually prefer natural looking tones but was looking for a change. The colour was more of a deep plum red on opening than deep scarlet which the online images depict. A thick application could look quite heavy for a daytime look but I found a slight smudge of colour blended into a lovely tinted lip and more wearable. Felt great to wear but wasn't very long lasting though so needs to be reapplied throughout the day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lipstick glides on , the colour was very dark , too dark for me but I the correct shade the lipstick was great! It lasted all day , was smudge proof and took me ages to take off at the end of the night ! It felt a really good quality and the packaging looked expensive ! I would definitely buy it again just in a lighter colour ! It did have quite a strong smell which put me off slightly !

I liked the concept of the packaging and the hold and feel of it was good. It did last all day with only a few touch up mainly after eating. Otherwise a good looking and overall lipstick. If it was my colour I would definitely reuse.

Super comfortable and flattering colours. Glides on and has a creamy texture. You can dab it on so it gives you a slight stained look or apply as normal for a more vibrant look.
