I really like the red metallic finish of the sleek, stylish packaging and the wand designs as well as the intense black pigmentation of this mascara. The mascara is buildable, felt lightweight, left my lashes feeling soft, dried quickly and just as claimed, didn't smudge, flake or irritate my (sometimes) sensitive eyes. While the mascara certainly added a touch of length to my lashes, it failed to lift and curl as promised, nor did it provide much volume. I was also disappointed at how it clumped my lashes together, I had to work really hard in order achieve some semblance of separation. Sadly it's a no from me and I will be sticking to my ride or die Air Volume 30hr mascara

Double ended - lashes look great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Always hard choosing a mascara you are happy with as we are all different but I really do not think you can go wrong with this one! Firstly it has 2 separate brushes - the first is straight and the second is fuller and curved. I put a light coating on using the first brush and it was easy and effortless. I then used the curved brush on both upper and lower lids - I have to say I personally was more impressed by the impact on the lower lashes. I am not into the full on 'false eye lash look' but have little doubt that you could achieve a deeper longer lash with more application than I wanted to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mascara. It's like having a 2 in 1 mascara. Non clumpy. Brush is long with a normal brush, rather than an odd shaped brush. Apply number 1, then number 2 for along lash effect. The middle section of the mascara tube, has a grip effect, which helps with holding the mascara and applying mascara easier, without it slipping from ur fingers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was trying this after a night of know sleep and talk about wow. The mascara looks fab, has a great grip in the centre. Just using side 1, brush perfect length for catching all your lashes and ni clumps, great for everyday look. Step 2 is the wow, lifted and lengthed. I have a party next week and will def be using this to give my eyes the wow!

I like how it contains pro-keratin as eyelashes aren’t dry or clumped looking. Just gorgeous! Side 1: Natural long natural looking lashes. The brush lengthens the eyelashes and give them a full effect. Side 2: This brush is curved and fans the long eyelashes from brush one. This gives a fuller spread out effect. It leaves lashes looking like faux ones. Stunning!

Lifts and Curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is fantastic 2 step mascara. The first step is a black primer applied with a straight brush. This step adds lots of volume to lashes. Step 2 lifts and curls the lashes with a curved mascara brush. I have quite straight lashes, so I loved how lifted up and curled my lashes looked after step 2.
The 2 steps leave my lashes looking intensely black and volumised with a nice curl.
This lasted all day without smudging or flaking.

I received this mascara from community xSeen in exchange for my review, I like the mascara separately but not with using both sides together as it makes the lashes very clumpy and stumpy looking. I used the first wand and it did make my lashes look quite long but I have gotten longer lashes with another mascara made my loreal beauty tubes. It doesn't transfer or smudge but it did flake a little throughout the day. Easy to remove with Cleanser. I would recommend this to people who like thick clumpy lashes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good mascara for this money. My lashes is long and strong. But with this mascara they looks great. Very long and thick. First step makes it long and each lash separated from each other. Second step gives volume and curling. Was surprised from result.
It stays for all day without any dark marks under my eyes. And it was very easy to remove with normal usual eye make up remover.

Longest lashes ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The results from this mascara are amazing! My lashes looked so long after only step 1 and there's no clumpiness. Step 2 is a little more tricky to apply, but curls the lash and adds depth to the colour.
I would definitely recommend. With good application, you could skio the falsies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good mascara, both sides of the wand are shaped differently, with the second being curved to give your lashes a bit of definition. It definitely gave my lashes a lift, they were defined and looked longer than usual. It stayed on well and didn’t feel heavy or clumpy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At last! The mascara I've been searching for for so long! I have so many that just don't do what they say, but this one ticks all the boxes. Firstly, it doesn't smudge - so many of mine currently give me panda eyes after a really short period of time, but this lasts all day! It doesn't budge! Secondly, it doesn't clump. Thirdly, lashes are left long and full, and really do look like they might not be real- except they are! Lovely long full lashes. I am so happy that finally I have found something that does what it says, without me having to pay a fortune (and the expensive ones don't do what they say either!). A very happy customer.

The first gives a good coverage and a little lift, which I personally think is ideal for daytime use all on its own. It clings well to the lashes and the brush is a good shape to ensure all those individual lashes don't get missed. Even good for
the lower lashes without getting it all over your skin. However if you want real va va voom then switch ends and apply this mascara over the top of the first. The lift is excellent, it really opens up your eyes, it also gives some volume and length. But if it's lift your looking for, look no further this is the one !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly packaging is great. It's slightly longer than normal mascara but that means you get a decent volume of both parts. Secondly both parts are black, yay! Usually on these the undercoat is white and you have to be careful to cover it all. First layer is great and really lengthens your lashes with a straight brush. Not sold on the finishing layer though, it's a curved brush which I typically avoid as it's tricky to use and prone to clumping. Overall, love the lengthening but the two steps and second brush mean I'd probably only use this when I have a bit more time (e.g. going out) rather than my quick everyday makeup that I can't risk going wrong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have naturally fine thin lashes, so Loreal's Pro-XXL was very welcome. This mascara darkens, and adds the wow factor to lashes, making them look long and fluttery. So if that is the effect you are after, go for it! There are two brushes, the first one (helpfully labelled 1) is the straight brush for volumizing, and the curved brush(No 2) is to curl the lashes. My lashes are ultra straight so while there was definitely a lifting effect, I didn't notice much of a curl. I do like this mascara though, as it is pretty much smudge and flake proof.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using this mascara, I’m quite fussy with my mascaras as I prefer a fatter wand as I always feel they give my lashes more lift and volume so I was very happy to see that this mascara had a nice wand. At first I found it quite fiddly to use because the wand is quite long with the two ends but once I got used to it I found It really easy and quick to use and it was actually even better than my normal mascara! I was surprised really because of the two steps I thought it would be a lot slower but it was great to use in the morning’s when I was rushing as it always gave me lovely lashes fast - will definitely buy again and would recommend!

I am so happy with the results. This mascara really works great for my lashes .
The packaging is beautiful and I like the two steps application. Both wands are nice size and easy to use and apply the mascara .
I love how lightweight this mascara feels on my lashes . It doesn't crump or flake and it stays on the whole day looking perfect.
My lashes are visibly longer and fuller when using this mascara . Affordable product that gives great results for me . I'm happy with this product and would continue using it.

My lashes looked completely transformed, like I was wearing false lashes. I really liked the formulas of both sides & they work great together leaving me with really good looking lashes. Overall I'm really happy with the results. The formulas do dry quickly so once you've applied side 1 you can't hang about too long before applying side 2 or it won't go on smoothly & will look clumpy. I made that mistake the first couple of times time, but once I'd got my timings right I had no more issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had high expectations for this but regretted wearing it as soon as I applied it. The first brush turned my lashes into spider legs and the second just made it worse.
I didn’t get any difference in volume, quite the opposite, looking thin and wirey. I certainly didn’t experience curl either. I do have straight lashes but I can get curl from many mascaras easily, but not this one.
I also found it to flake quite badly in the day. I tried different methods of applying the two coats, dry and wet but both had the same result. I tried one end on each eye and found it to be the bottom coat which caused the flaking.

Wow! Amazing eyelashes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! Where did these eyelashes come from! I am truly amazed I didn't know my lashes could look so amazing. Looks so expensive I just knew the contents will be great. Step 1 gives volume and, to be honest, I was more than happy with just this on my lashes they looked so good. Then applied step 2 which curls and lifts the lashes and I will admit my eyes looked more open and the lashes even more pronounced and full. So happy with this mascara and the slightly different looks it gives. And cleaning up is simplicity itself, all came off with a couple sweeps of my Loreal cleansing wipe. Perfect! Highly recommend!

My new favourite mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really effective and it makes my lashes look much longer.
Pro XXL LIFT is a two step mascara, you use one end of it to coat your lashes and then the other to create lifted volumised deep black lashes. They really do look almost like fake lashes and this is much more comfortable to wear.
I have tried similar products to this and I found those flaked off during the day but Pro XXL mascara lasts and lasts with no flaking, smudging or clumping at all. The mascara is also quite easy to remove.
I would highly recommend this a the effect is really impressive and so easy to achieve, it is my new favourite.

Totally loved the wand design sat easily in my hand for application first step was the straight brush end glided through my lashes and really separated each one, the second step appeared to volumise and curled my lashes. Great mascara for a lash lift

I have been trying out the new lash lift mascara and Im amazed how it not only lifts my lashes but gives a fuller look.
The primer on its own gives a great coverage on its own and makes the lashes look fuller but the added fibers gives it a much dramatic look.
I do prefer to have natural looking lashes so I wiped the ends so it gives a smooth finish otherwise my 1st attemp was a bit clumpy.
I need to try the extra volume one now

Long lasting and gave lift and fullness to lashes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mascara works in a two step way to achieve long curled lashes. Apply from wand 2 at first to give good even coverage then apply a second layer with wand 2 to give enhanced cover and a lift to the lashes. A little practice was needed to achieve this but when I got the hang of it my short fairly straight lashes were curled up and looking longer and fuller! Very pleased with the result. Lasted very well and removed easily with an eye make up remover product. My only advice would be to make sure there’s not too much product on the wands when you apply better to add more than have too much in one go!

Sinceramente, me atrevería a decir que esta es la mejor máscara de pestañas que he probado nunca. Me encanta ponérmela en dos pasos porque siento que así puedo darles a mis pestañas el volumen que deseo evitando que se apelmacen. Además, su efecto me dura todo el día y me resulta muy fácil de retirar del rostro antes de irme a dormir, lo cual no solo me ahorra tiempo sino que me resulta muy agradable y me da mucha tranquilidad. Sin duda la recomiendo, yo la llevo usando todos los días el último mes y estoy súper contenta, espero que mi reseña os anime a dar el paso a comprarla, no os arrepentiréis!

Simple to use with great definition

I always find that when you first use new mascara it can be a little tricky to apply, this one produces a light application with the first wand. Then I followed it up with a build up to my lash definition on the second brush. So easy but straight away the lash feels fuller and my eyes brighter.

I kindly received the L'Oréal Pro XXL Lash Mascara free from CommunityxSeen in exchange for my honest review. Firstly, I love the overall design of the mascara. I love that it is double ended with the intention of both volume and curl/lift. The wand shapes reflect the intention of both steps. It's easy to store and perfect for travel. The mascara applies really easily and doesn't clump your lashes together. I love how my lashes look after I apply this, they look so volumous and healthy. I've found that when I use this mascara I don't feel the need to apply lashes so I think this is perfect for someone who likes the idea of lashes but is worried about how to apply or which style would suit them best. At the end of the day I found that the mascara hadn't smudged or transfered to my lid which I find some mascaras do this. I definitely see it being great value for money and would make the perfect gift too!

I've purchased too many mascaras in the past claiming voluminous and lifted lashes....but this actually works! Upon first application of the volumising wand i could see my thin poker straight lashes were thicker. I only applied one layer but I'm sure this is buildable withought clogging. I then used the lifting wand next. Again, only one coat but i could see an instant lift. The application didn't leave any clumps...I'm happy with this. Will see throughout the day whether this mascara smudges under my eyes now but it appears to not budge!

Personally I would wear this mascara on a night to give my lashes the extra wow factor, rather than in the daytime as I feel for me especially, as I wear contact lens the 2 products on my lashes would feel a little heavy for me in the daytime compared to my usual daytime mascara, but for dressed up night out mascara this would be the mascara for me.

Lash lift in a bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Non clumpy mascara with a wand that separates lashes for a more defined look. The mascara stays on all day (8 hr at work) and doesn't flake or clump. I found that it worked on my eyelids which are more oily than most. Easier than lash extensions or false lashes and faffing with the glue and ruining your eyeshadow. Simple- apply step 1. I curl at this stage, but then apply step 2. I use a hairdryer for a few seconds on my lash curler to add heat and additional volume to "lock" the mascara into place. Step 2 is the finishing touch and separates the lashes and lengthens them. useful to pop into a bag and not too large to chuck into a smaller clutch or bag for re-application if you feel so inclined.

Great mascara for volume and length!

I received this mascara from Community x Seen in exchange for a review and I love the results! The formula does not smudge, flake or transfer on me and I have very oily eyelids. The mascara comes with 2 brushes - 1 for volume and 2 for curl/lift. I love the effect from both and sometimes just wear side 1. Overall, a good drugstore mascara.

Didn’t expect to love it as much as I do

As someone who has short, sparse and stick straight lashes that grow downwards, it takes a lot for a mascara to impress me but this one definitely did. The volume and curl it gives is phenomenal. Definitely one to reach for if you want DRAMA in your lashes. If you like a softer, more natural look then this isn’t the one for you. I love it!

Thick and uplifted lashes

I found it so easy to use.
2 simple steps and my lashes looked so much thicker and definitely improved my curl.I have thinner eyelashes due to age and they looked so much fuller and thicker and uplifted without the price of a trip to a beauty salon.
This will definitely be a staple in my makeup bag
